About Us

Bringing comfort to neighbors and envisioning a world without suicide

Console is dedicated to providing suicide loss assistance through peer support and training and education. Peer support includes the LOSS Team, a trained group of volunteers with lived experience who visit with the suicide bereaved immediately following a loss. Several evidence-based trainings are offered to community organizations, schools and municipalities, businesses, and laypeople.

Our Story

We met through a shared dedication to improving the mental health and wellbeing of our communities and neighbors.

We bonded over a shared history of suicide loss, and our unique ability to understand each other's grief.

We shared a passion for ending suicide.

Now, we partner to offer hope to the suicide bereaved and do everything in our power to prevent suicide.

The Logo

Console logo, a dark green stamp icon with the word console and a drawing of a chamomile flower

Console's logo depicts a chamomile plant. A member of the daisy family, chamomile is known for its beauty and scent. Its flower symbolizes calm and restoration. Because

of these qualities, chamomile is associated

with healing, strength, and resilience. It is commonly found in goods that evoke regeneration and self-care, such as

chamomile tea, oils and soaps, and scented candles.
